" Up for review today I’ve got a monitor from our friends at Geeks.com, but it’s not just any monitor this is an IPS monitor! if you don’t know anything about monitors, then let me tell you that IPS is a very good thing when it comes to LCD display. The monitor I have for review is the LG IPS236V which is a 23” sized monitor that has HDMI, DVI and VGA inputs on it so you’ve got connection choices. This monitor provides excellent color reproduction and extreme viewing angles with little to no distortion. It’s a great monitor for everything you do, no matter if it’s gaming, watching HD movies or just browsing the web, things will most certainly look better on the LG IPS236V! "

Arcadie Retro Gaming Console for iDevices Review

Another review by me on TestFreaks…

" When I was young I remember actually going to the arcade where they had full sized arcade machines for you to play. These days they don’t exist anymore, except for limited places like Dave and Busters, and that’s really only for adults considering how much alcohol is consumed there. That’s here in the United States of course, I know in other countries arcades are still popular and going strong. For children there really aren’t arcades anymore and there really isn’t a need for them considering we have consoles in our homes and portable gaming everywhere which is a lot cheaper than pumping quarters into machines for hours per day. Today for review I’ve got something that will help bring back that arcade feel, at least in small scale. The product is the Arcadie Retro Gaming Console that can be used with your iPod Touch or iPhone turning it into basically an arcade machine. I’ve been playing with it for quite a while and thoroughly enjoying myself while doing it. So read on to learn more about it.."

Xclio Touch 787 Full Tower Case Review

Yep, another review by me…

Review Snipit:
" Holy fans Batman! That’s the first thing I thought when I opened the box and started to examine the case I have for review today. The Xclio Touch 787 Full Tower Chassis features ten, yes that’s 10, 120mm fans pre-installed for you. I’m thinking that’s more than enough to keep any system running cool no matter how many video cards and hard drives and whatever else you’ve got inside. The amount of fans could be considered a feature yes, but the Touch 787 also has a built-in touch panel for controlling all of those fans which is great because ten fans can get kind of loud. The Touch 787 also has a very unique hard drive mounting system, and plenty of room inside for even the largest video cards."

" The power supply is an important part of your system, a very important one and it’s ideal to have a good quality PSU, especially if you’re running a higher end system. There are times though when you don’t need a high wattage PSU, or you’re just on a budget but yet need a new power supply. Up for review today I’ve got a PSU that sells for about $40, so it certainly can be considered budget. The PSU is from Diablotek and it’s the UL Series PSUL575 which is a 575 Watt ATX Power Supply. I’ve put it in a low-medium end system and it seems to work fine for that, so read on…"

no-scams

Yep, no id list on caller id. That’s a giveaway to spam or scam caller.

Hmm.. another scammy phone call. This one just calls and hangs up on the answering machine if you don’t answer it, but it sits there silently for almost a minute before it actually hangs up so it leaves a blank message on machine.

If you call back you can’t get through, says call cannot be completed at this time.

Supposedly it’s the American Future Fund, but I can’t verify that. It’s a republican political call essentially asking for money or doing a poll or survey. It depends some people have gotten asked for money and others have gotten the automated survey.

Either way it’s crap. I’m on the Do No Call List and it doesn’t work.

I wish they would stop calling.
