I’ve been a target a hackers too many times now, so I give up, they win.. happy now? I know some of you out here are..
screw it all… I’m canceling the hosting, and this site will be gone by months end when what I paid for already expires..
I don’t think it matters really though as no one ever visited here…
this sucks… I hate you prick hackers out there
I did everything possible to protect this site, changed all of my passwords, deleted all users, changed the login stuff.. re-installed WP and it was still hacked
what I can’t figure out is why can’t the WordPress people do something about the site where it’s coming from, I mean it’s well documented all over the place, but yet no one has the balls to shut the site down?!?!? truly WTF?!?!?!
oh and apparently it’s somewhere in the template I was using as it’s not here, but I went through all fo the code for the template and can’t find it
replaced the template with the original version and the problem is gone.. but now my site is all screwed up… I can’t access any of the old content.. this sucks

Exactly what I just said, it’s all a bunch of bull-poop!!
It’s May 28th and I’ve got to have my furnace on, it’s going to be in the 30s tonight.. the Fracking 30’s!!! That’s just a few degrees above freezing and it’s a few days before JUNE!!!!!!!
I thought Global Warming meant that it was getting warmer not COLDER!
But wait I could bet that if you mentioned something like this to one of those experts they’d tell you it’s cold BECAUSE of Global Warming, and I could also bet that if it was going to be 100 degrees tonight they would also say it’s because of global warming….
the average low according to the almanac is 53F, and the record low was 35F in 1971
May 28th and the upper 30’s for tonight… there’s something wrong with the science there, if it’s actually getting warmer then it shouldn’t be in the 30’s a few days before June

That was a fun, interesting process… I still think it’s quite flawed, but I guess with any new system there are bound to be flaws..
What pisses me off the most though is that even if you know who hacked you the hackers ISP won’t do anything about it, but yet Google and the likes are more than happy to jump and essentially convict the owner of the site for distributing malware/badware or whatever…
Here’s the final email response from StopBadware.org, who works with Google to put these wonderfual labels on sites:

I like how it says that they’ll be re-testing my site at periodic intervals and that the process will take longer the next time… longer than a month eh? great, something to look forward to then…
It still feels to me like it assumes your guilt, like ‘we’re going to be keeping an eye on you!’

I must be too old or something, I don’t understand or find anything at all funny about this whole RickRoll thing going on now…
It’s asinine and childish from what I’ve seen, I didn’t think I was that old, I’m only 36, have I lost my sense of humor?
Or am I more mature than those who find the whole RR thing amusing and funny?

So a few days ago my wifes cousin got arrested, he’s 18 years old and from what I know he’s never been in trouble with the law… the best part is that he didn’t do anything to get arrested except look like someone.
Apparently some guy got jumped, beat up, robbed etc by a group of (insert word here) and my wifes cousin was wearing clothes similar to what one of the guys were wearing.. sweatpants and sweatshirt (common clothing isn’t it?). Anyway, from a distance the victim pointed him out as being one of the ones that assaulted him, well the police didn’t ask any questions at all, six of them jumped on this 18yr old kid, handcuffed him and scared the shit out of him.. he ended up with a concussion, and scrapes and bruises all over his body.. he was trying to ask them what he did and they were screaming at him to shut up or they’ll taser him?!?!
So after they roughed him up, they put him in the patrol car and took him over to the victim to identify, of course the victim said NO it’s not him…
so our wonderful police of course had to let him go because he didn’t do anything, but now he’s like afraid to leave his house, and he’s traumatized and rightly so…
and the police came over and said ‘sorry’ and that’s it.
hrmmm…… there’s a problem with our police abusing their authority, I don’t think they’re supposed to assault someone and then ask questions

The great thing is that they don’t give you any information about why or what caused it?All my info in on file with them, I’m registered with Google for many things.. they couldn’t say that there’s a problem with my site!?!?!?
So I just finished going through EVERY blog post since February 2007 and I didn’t find anything wrong at all…
I did find a funky directory in my FTP account that had gambling stuff in it.. not mine, so apparently it was hacked by someone.. that’s so nice of them to do that isn’t it?
I’m guessing that’s what the problem was or is still.. who knows how long it’s going to take Google to fix it now.
I went though and filled out the form to ‘request reconsideration’, but still it would have been nice had I been informed of them doing this…
