The Review:
Let’s start with a video unboxing and mini review:
The timer ships in a plastic clamshell style package where you can see the timer on the front and the included battery on the back. The instructions are on the back of the package insert.
The timer is made of plastic and it’s about 3” x 3.24” x .75” and it seems well made overall and it looks nice. The display is 2.5” x 1.25” in size and below it are three buttons for Minutes, Seconds and Start/Stop. To clear the timer you press both the minute and second buttons at the same time.
The back has a nice large rectangular magnet so you can stick it to your refrigerator or stove or wherever else you need to.
The battery compartment is on the back and that’s where you put the included battery of course.
The timer has a folding stand built-in, it just pops out and you can prop the timer up on the table. It works well for what it is.
There is a very small sliding power switch on the side of the timer to turn it on and off.
The timer has a nice large display showing minutes and seconds in black. The timer goes beep beep beep over and over when the timer reaches zero and it’s nice and loud, more than loud enough to hear in another room.
To set the timer you just push the M or S buttons to change the minutes and seconds, each press advances one or you can hold them it to advance faster and it beeps every single time you change a digit. This is the only downside to this product I could find so far really, if you press sixty times or hold in to get to sixty it will beep sixty times, it can get annoying real fast.
Pros:
+Loud
+Simple to use
+Well made
+Inexpensive
+Comes with battery
Cons:
-Beeps every single buttons press
