Up for review today I’ve got what is being sold as a makeup or cosmetics organizer box but it can be used for all sorts of things besides that. It’s a clear acrylic and it has two sections, a top with compartments of varying sizes and shapes and a bottom with drawers. It’s a decent product that looks nice and works fine…

The Review:
The packaging isn’t the greatest, the box was just shipped in a plastic bag and the box was damaged slightly but the contents were fine.
The organizer box, top and bottom, is wrapped in plastic for protection during shipping and I’d have to say it worked well to protect it.
There are two pieces to the box, top and bottom. The bottom section is basically just a chest of drawers but the top section has all sort of compartments in varying sizes and shapes. It’s a hard acrylic material and it looks good and it seems well made overall.
There are four drawers in the bottom half, two small and two large and all of them are lined with a soft material to protect what you put in there which is nice touch. The drawers open very easily, they just slide in and out with very little resistance.
The top tray just sits on the bottom, it’s not actually attached. So far it’s been fine, but I was thinking maybe of gluing it together if it becomes an issue.
My 14 year old son is a mess, he has no organization skills whatsoever so I actually gave this box to him to hopefully help him keep things organized and easy to find. he does wear jewelry so the drawers are great for his chains to keep them safe and not lost in the mess of his room. He actually likes it. It’s crystal or clear colored and it’s not girly at all so it works fine and you can see everything in it since it’s clear. There’s plenty of space for all his stuff, his glasses fit right in the top tray along with pens, deodorant, comb and numerous other things he has in there. I think it helps him stay a bit more organized which is a very good thing.
Summary and Comments:
I like using products that I can for things they’re not meant to be used for. For example this is sold as something for women really but my son is using it, it’s not feminine or masculine really. Guys have stuff like this as well and they do need somewhere to put it and most products like this are rather girly, but this isn’t.
All in all the box is well made, it’s study and offers decent protection for what’s inside.
Decent product in my opinion, my son likes it and he uses it everyday to help keep his things and himself organized.
