"Today for review I’ve got the latest gaming mousepad from XtracGear called the Carbonic. The pad gets it’s name from the carbon fiber appearance on the surface of the pad, it’s not carbon fiber, it’s what would be considered a cloth pad, but it’s not cloth as you might expect. The surface is shiny and what Xtrac calls a polished textile surface making it have the rougher surface of a cloth pad for more control but also making it slicker than most traditional cloth pads are. The Carbonic has what I would call a hybrid surface, it’s flexible like cloth but yet slick like plastic. Read on to learn more.. "

Review Snipit:
"Up for review today I have a gaming mouse from Sentey called the Revolution Pro and it is a very feature rich product. The mouse can be adjusted from 200dpi up to 8200dpi and you can even create your own macros and save them to five different profiles that you can create. Sentey includes configuration software that you can use to gain access to all of the features of the Revolution Pro but you don’t have to use as there are defaults pre-programmed into the mouse that you can use. Sentey also included a very nice and protective carrying case with the Revolution Pro along with some gamer related swag to brighten up your living space. Read on to learn more… "

Feenix Nascita Gaming Mouse 2014 Model Review

New review by me, if you’re looking for a new and just awesome gaming mouse, then check it out…

“I have myself a new favorite mouse. Over my numerous years of reviewing products I’ve of course had the chance to review many mice of all shapes and sizes but the one I have today is the best so far I think. The mouse is the Nascita from Feenix and it’s what I would call a no frills gaming mouse. What I mean by that is you won’t find any special software, or weight kit or interchangeable sides or really anything but the mouse itself and that’s not a bad thing at all. The Nascita is designed for gaming with the focus being on gaming plain and simple, it just works and looks great. Like all gaming mice these days the Nascita does allow you to change DPI from 800 all the way up to 8200 and there’s even an LCD display to let you know what you’re set on at a glance. Inside of the mouse you’ll find an Avago 9800 laser chipset and Omron switches that are rated for ten million clicks. The mouse is weighted and balanced and features an anti-sweat and anti-slip surface to make sure you have a good grip all the time. Read on to learn more…”

Digital Storm Gaming Laptop Giveaway

header-gaming-laptop

Digital Storm is having a contest giving away a decent gaming laptop so I thought I’d share it..

If you’ve got an old gaming PC that moves slower than Grandma and has more scratches than a DJ’s record collection, Digital Storm is offering PC gamers a chance to throw out their throwback laptop and win a brand new Digital Storm Krypton gaming laptop (valued at $1,478), with its Retro Gaming Laptop contest

To enter, simply take a photo of your old clunker and post it to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #DSThrowbackContest. Then, fill out the form here and let us know where you’ve posted your photo. All photos must be received by April 30, 2014.

The contest coincides with Digital Storm’s refresh of its gaming laptops line, featuring the new NVIDIA GTX 800M series of graphics cards.

Your old gaming laptop: it’s got more scratches than an antique vinyl record collection and has seen more duct tape than Reservoir Dogs. You affectionately refer to it as “Old Yeller” for both the way its fan makes loud noises when you try to play a game and the fact that it needs to be put out of its misery.

Digital Storm is here to offer PC gamers a chance to toss out their throwback laptop and win a brand new Digital Storm Krypton gaming laptop (valued at $1,478). From those photos submitted, we’ll choose the best (read: worst) photo of the most broke-down, dilapidated, decrepit, no-account (you get the picture) laptop to determine a winner. We’ll announce the winner on May 1, 2014 on this page.

Func MS-3² Gaming Mouse Review

New review by me!

Quote:
“Today for review I have the Func MS-3² or MS-3 Revision 2 gaming mouse which is like no other I’ve owned or reviewed I think. The shape of the MS-3 is very unique as it’s large and meant to be palmed or held with your entire hand covering it. The MS-3 features ten buttons, one of which is called Instant Aim which slows down the DPI of the mouse for something like sniping when you need extreme accuracy. The MS-3 can store three profiles and it has two sets of colored LEDs that can be changed independently of each other for virtually unlimited colors combinations.  This mouse will let you program all of the buttons and even assign macros to them if you wish. The MS-3 Rev2 is a decent mouse overall but it’s one that will take quite a bit of time to get accustomed to, at least that was the case for me. Read on to learn more…”
