Woo-Hoo I’m on the Radio!
Well, not really me, but one of my quotes from a review is..
I reviewed the Epson Workforce 600 over at TestFreaks.com a while ago and they used my quote in their new radio spot advertisement, so that’s rather cool..
though they didn’t credit me actually, they credited the site, but oh well, it’s something, and I know it’s my work!
one of my media contacts already mentioned to me he heard it on the radio, and congratulated me on it..
pretty cool…
Oh yeah.. I’m excited and haven’t been this excited in a while about getting a product for review.. But Microsoft was kind enough to send me the Gears of War 2 Zune!!

Oh Well.. so last night I officially went IDE no more.. no IDE conenctions at all in my computer, everything is SATA… woo-hoo… dunno why I feel excited about it though…
I got the new Samsung Super-Writemaster SATA burner with Lightscribe, and I ‘ve got a Qlfix enabled SATA dvdrw burner as well.. if you don’t know about Qflix it’s a rather cool service where you can buy and burn movies, so you download them and you’ve got a physical copy in your hands.. of course you’ve got to use special blank DVDs , but they aren’t really much mroe than others, it would be nice though if they were lightscribe capable as well to make your own labels…
anyway, I’m gong to have a full review of the Qflix burner and service and a review of the new Samsung as well coming up on TestFreaks soon..
Oh well. my desk chair is now in the garbage.. I got it from Office Depot about a year ago, paid $30 for it on sale, so I think I got my moneys worth anyhow..
So went this morning, back to Office Depot and I found that they don’t have much of the type of chairs I like, I don’t like arms on my chairs as I liek to sit crosslegged and the arms get in the way.. they had some nice leather chairs on sale, like regular price $150 on sale for $50 so that’s a nice discount..
but I ended up paying $70 for one that I liked, but not exactly the type I like, but it’ll do I guess for now.. I’ve been using it for the last few hours and it seems comfortable
and they had a special that if you spend $50 or more you get a $10 gift card, well the guy who was helping me had no clue and screwed it up, and if i wanted it he would have had to void my order and re-do it, I just said screw it..
but I got this chair HERE if anybody cares..
So my aunt and uncle have a computer, a dell, it’s older, maybe two years, the warranty expired… well my aunt is the type of person who is honestly not that bright, and if she gets an email saying she got an ecard from someone she opens it of course and gets a virus.. she visits all kinds of stupid websites and anytime one of them says to download something she does it…
so, two days ago I posted about turing my furnace on because it was cold.. well it died yesterday, so I’m still cold… it was 32F outside when I got up this morning, and the part I need was just replaced about four years ago, and it’s going to cost me about $300 for it.. it’s just the motor that went bad, but of course I have to buy the entire housing setup as well.. and I won’t have any money till wednesday, so I guess we will be cold till then…
gack… I hate my life sometimes
Oh well.. there goes my gas bill, it’s 38F outside so I guess it’s time to turn the furnce on.. I held out as long as I could, but that’s that… back to the $400+ gas bills every month, and supposedly there’s an 18% increase this year as well.. so this should be a rough winter.. but I’ve got children, and when they complain they’re cold, it’s time to turn it on.. fun-fun
I don’t get it really why the gas has to rise 18%.. I mean we’re not making anymore money than we did last year, but they want us to pay more…
