<p>I got free Star Trek movie with Seagate FreeAgent Go right?</p>
<p>They give you a code to go to Paramount and get, and I quote: <strong>Star Trek movie in full-HD</strong></p>
<p>I redeemed my code and downloaded the movie, but the resolution is 720&#215;300?! How is that &#8220;full-HD&#8221; exactly?</p>
<p>I always thought official HD resolution started at 720P or 1280&#215;720 ..</p>
<p>Is Paramount creating their own specs now?</p>
<p>One could say, &#8220;but hey, it&#8217;s free right?&#8221; and to that I would say &#8220;they advertised FULL HD not fake HD&#8221;</p>
<p>What gives Paramount? What specs are you using?</p>

<p>I do like Mountain Dew Throwback, it does taste better than regular Mountain Dew.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I think I&#8217;m going to quit shopping at my local Gamestop in favor of another one. I&#8217;ve got one that takes less than 5 minutes to drive to, I could even walk if I wanted, but the last few times I&#8217;ve visited have not been nice. Or I may just stop shopping at Gamestop altogether seriously, I can order them online from Amazon and get it delivered to my door.</p>
<p>A couple weeks ago I go in to trade some games in, I don&#8217;t really care about the whole trade-in thing, I know it&#8217;s kind of a rip-off but it&#8217;s convenient for me. I take care of my stuff, I&#8217;m an adult not a child who just throws things around. My games are always in their cases and handled with care. Trading the games in they hit me with a $4 refurbish fee for what looks to be a defect in the disc itself, it was just a discoloration.  It wasn&#8217;t a scratch or a scuff mark, I know that, I know the game works fine, I played it, I finished it. I tried to argue with the guy but he said he thinks it needs refinished so that&#8217;s that, take it or leave it. I wasn&#8217;t really arguing, I just said that&#8217;s not a scratch it&#8217;s just a discoloration in the disc itself, but he wasn&#8217;t having any of it.</p>
<p>My kids wanted to trade some of their games in, now we cleaned them before taking them in, yes they had a few small scratches but they played fine I can attest to that fact. My son ended up with $2.31 for three games after they hit him with refurb charges on all of his games. This is just BS surely.</p>
<p>My other son traded in four games and ended up with about $6 after they hit him with fees on all of his games.</p>
<p>They&#8217;re running this new program where you get an extra 20% on trade in,  but it seems they&#8217;re getting around giving you this bonus by hitting you with refurb fees for every game, and the fee is more than what the extra % is. So you&#8217;re really losing money.</p>
<p>The other day I go in to grab  a combo game, it was two game for $19.99. it&#8217;s Mirror&#8217;s Edge and Fracture. never played either one, but I always wanted to try Mirror&#8217;s Edge and for $10 I figured why not. The Gamestop site doesn&#8217;t say it&#8217;s an online only thing and I&#8217;ve seen other combo packs like this at my Gamestop so I figured I&#8217;d give it a try. I found out it&#8217;s an online only thing&#8230;</p>
<p>I figured while I was there I would grab DeathSmiles, the box is on the shelf, I take it to the counter and they don&#8217;t have it in stock. Then I watched the guy take it back and put it back on the shelf knowing full well that they don&#8217;t have it in stock?! WTF? Seriously you know it&#8217;s not in stock but you&#8217;re going to offer it for sale?!</p>
<p>Today I go to get Mafia II, a big game, with a lot of hype behind it. No I don&#8217;t pre-order games, I get a lot for review, so why pre-order when the game might show up on my doorstep, and if it doesn&#8217;t I just go buy it if I really want it. Gamestop has none at all unless you pre-ordered it.</p>
<p>How does that make any sense at all? A big game launch like Mafia II and you don&#8217; t have any at all to sell to walk in customers?!?</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t understand how they stay in business, they lie and cheat customers by saying the game needs refurbed when it obviously doesn&#8217;t, and they don&#8217;t have the brand new games in stock, but yet they have promos everywhere in the store for the game, in their windows, and empty boxes on the shelves for said game.  That&#8217;s false advertising if I ever did see it&#8230; They get you in the store with the ads, but then they don&#8217;t have it and expect you to buy something else I guess&#8230;  It&#8217;s a bunch of BS..</p>

<p>Edit..   now we&#8217;re up to 126 attempts&#8230;   do people actually use passwords like 1234567, and 654321 ?!  that&#8217;s just stupid.. the best has to be &#8216;administatorpassword&#8217; as the password!</p>

<p>I thought it was a video card issue, but I&#8217;ve got two 4870 cards and one 4890 card and they all do it when running windows 7. The cursor gets all weird and big when running ATI cards on Windows 7..</p>
<p>ATI and AMD have known about the problem but apparently just refuse to fix it.</p>
<p>The only fix I have is to turn Pointer Trails on or click the box for Display Pointer Trails and then slide the slider all the way to the left for short trails. The trails are not really visible at all, and I haven&#8217;t had the problem with the big cursor either.</p>
<p>Still though ATI/AMD needs to fix the issue.. if you hop over to their forums you&#8217;ll find many posts on the subject with a lot of unhappy customers..</p>

<p>When you&#8217;re a reviewer, you get a lot of cool stuff to keep, then there are some companies who don&#8217;t let you keep the stuff&#8230;</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve gotten to keep things that cost hundreds of dollars, and then I&#8217;ve had to send things back that cost as little as $30</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll never understand the policies for as long as I do this..</p>
<p>Most all companies tell you upfront that they want the product back, and many companies even make you sign an agreement about how long you have the item for. it&#8217;s nice to know up front that you have to return something. Some companies will tell you after you let them know the review is finished that they want it back, that can be annoying, but it&#8217;s not too big of a deal&#8230;</p>
<p>I just had a company email me almost 4 months later asking for the product back.. never said nothing at the start, never mentioned it after I told them the review was live, nothing at all about returning it until now.. the best part is that they now want me to pay to ship it back to them.. every company I&#8217;ve eve3n dealt with has given me a shipping label or provided an account number to ship it back to them..</p>
<p>I won&#8217;t mention the company, but it&#8217;s a product that I happen to like a lot and have been using and have it set the way I need it to be..</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve read several things about this problem.. Netflix blames Microsoft, and Microsoft in turn blames Netflix.</p>
<p>I read about deleting the PlayReady folder, don&#8217;t do that then you&#8217;ll get the DRM error.. uninstalling PlayReady doesn&#8217;t work either so don&#8217;t try that either.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve read that it&#8217;s because I&#8217;m running Windows 7 64bit&#8230;  we&#8217;ll never know what the problem is and frankly I don&#8217;t care I just want it fixed, but for now I&#8217;ve got a fix..</p>
<p>The ONLY fix right now is to run an older SilverLight or SillverLight 3&#8230; Netflix has updated their site so you can&#8217;t get it from them now, they have only version 4&#8230;</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve just spent the last hour or trying to find SilverLight 3 and it&#8217;s nowhere to be found for download so I did something a bit sneaky and right now as I type this I&#8217;ve got Full Metal Jacket playing in the FireFox in the Netflix player on my other monitor.. SUCCESS!</p>
<p>I bet you&#8217;re wondering what I did..</p>

<p>so as of now I’ve spent over 3 hours and about 22 minutes in total on the phone with Chase banking over the last three days</p>
<p>I’ve spoke to 25 people as of today, and I finally made my car payment…</p>
<p>it shouldn’t be that hard to give them my money…</p>
<p>The best part about it is that none of them seem to know what the other is talking about.. 25 times now I’ve had to give them my account information, and it seems there’s no notes at all in my account as to the situation, so 25 times I had to explain the problem to these people…</p>
<p>How do they stay in business with such poor customer service?!?!</p>
<p>I literally have been trying to make my car payment since the 12th, and today I can finally do it, the day before it’s due….</p>
<p>and the account is still messed up as it says I still owe for last month as well, but I paid it, and what it says I owe them is actually less than my payment is and no one can tell me why or what it is?!?!</p>
<p>… at least I finally made the payment right?!?!</p>
<p>morons…. all of them…</p>

<p>I’m on hold yet again as I type this actually, I’m at 2 1/2 hours on the phone with these people. At this point in time I’ve spoke to 17 different people.</p>
<p>I’ve heard numerous excuses as to why I can’t make my payment.</p>
<p>It’s due the 21st of this month.</p>
<p>I almost always pay it early via their online banking system, but now for some unknown reason I cannot do it.</p>
<p>It says I owe $0.00 but it’s due on the 21st of March. Now I have a paper bill here that says my payment amount and due date of course.</p>
<p>Yes I’ve asked to speak to supervisors about this but suspiciously three times when I asked I was hung up on.</p>
<p>They told me that I wasn’t actually hung up on, it’s because I was using a cell phone and it was my phone that cut me off. I told them i don’t think so because I was bounced back to the main menu when I asked to speak to a supervisor, so to me that is the same as being hung up on. They of course didn’t know what to say at that point since I proved them wrong.</p>
<p>I was then told that the reason I couldn’t make my payment was because I was using FireFox and I was told to use Internet Explorer… SURPRISE the same thing happens with IE… ( I thought that was rather funny they would even suggest that, it’s 2010 and I think we should be able to use our browser of choice and not be told to use IE)</p>
<p>I was then told that I couldn’t make my payment because it’s too early?!?!?&#160; What the frak does that mean? I’m not allowed to pay early now?!!? Is this a ploy to make sure they get their late fees from me? Do they need that $$ that bad that they won’t let me pay early just so they get the fee?</p>
<p>Again, I’m on the phone with them right now… they told me to log out and they’ll trouble shoot my account, I log back in and my account is gone, log back out, log back in and my account is there again but I still cannot pay my bill.</p>
<p>I even emailed the account executive for Chase but never hard back of course…</p>
<p>I emailed them as well through the online banking system and they told me to call the same number that I’ve been calling.</p>
<p>Apparently no one writes notes on the accounts as to any problems either, I’ve had to explain my problem 17 times now to 17 different people.</p>
<p>So I was told now that someone should be calling me back soon, what are the chances of that actually happening?!</p>
