The Review:
The whisks just come packaged in a plastic bag, not an issue as they’re not exactly fragile. A plastic bag is fine for me, it works and there’s no box or clamshell to fight with to get open and throw away.
The whisks are blue, red and green and they are 12, 10, and 8.5 inches in size. I really like the colors, they’ve much better than plain metal, they just add a bit of color and fun really to your kitchen and cooking.
I’ve never seen silicone whisks before so I was a bit skeptical as to how they would work or if they would last. I have many whisks of all different sizes and they’re all solid metal. They do have a bit more give them, they’re more flexible than solid metal basically.
The handles are stainless steel and the ends have plastic caps with a hole in them so you could hang them up if you wanted to.
The silicone is not heat conductive. I’ve left my other solid metal whisks in a pot before and went to grab them and they were hot, these will not conduct heat which is a big bonus in my opinion.
I’ve used them for numerous things, making gravies, sauces and even scrambling eggs, they’ve worked just fine for all of them, no complaints at all.
My metal whisks are stiffer than these, the silicone has more give to it, it’s just more flexible and springy, which seems to make them whip better than standard metal ones.
Overall I love these whisks, and they’re well worth the price.
They’re very well made in my opinion, and I hope they’ll last me a long time as they work well and they add a bit of fun and color to my kitchen.
I can highly recommend these if you’re in the market for a new set of whisks.
