Very nicely written. Your blog will strike a cord in thousands of Firefox users. It gives voice and information to the people who are going through this. Now I know my computer is ok, and I'm not crazy. Firefox is really crashing across the land.

I started having the same Firefox crashing problem a couple of months ago. It gets worse every day. I run dual 24" monitors, and have 4Gbs of memory so I often have a lot of pages open. This continual crashing is a huge pain in the neck. Why are we not hearing anything from Mozilla Firefox about this?

I've unplugged my Google Desktop, and killed the add-ons that are the known Firefox trouble makers. It sill crashes. Many times every day. It is heartbreaking. I used to love Firefox. Tabbed browsing changed everything! What happened?

Google Chrome is a fast browser, and it is easy to import Firefox
Bookmarks Toolbar info into the Google Bookmarks Toolbar. Icons and everything. I tried going back to IE. That lasted less than 30 minutes.

Thanks again for giving voice to the Firefox crash frustration. Maybe they will do something. I hope so as Firefox was a sweet browser. I'll keep looking for some fix for this. If I find one that works I'll send it along. For now I've got to go Chrome.

I had the same problem a few years ago and moved to Opera. I came to the conclusion over time that it was all my extensions and ended up moving back to Firefox earlier this year, only using what I needed and either uninstalling or disabling the other stuff.
